As a service dog, my pup has tried PLENTY of equipment and I am quite picky. He is very thin in stature and it's difficult to find a vest that isn't too bulky for him and moves well. FINALLY, we found one! I like him in denim, but this gives us all the function of the tactical vests (which are usually only darker colors or tan). Best of all, it has built in pockets!! He's pictured in the light blue (which is not really a denim as heavyweight as jeans, but more like a lighter denim looking fabric) This is super adjustable and the measurements in the listing seem to be spot on. The pictures will show you both our adorned and slightly modified vest and the out of box picture too.Here's the list of things I love about it:1. It's lightweight and seems breathable, so it's flexible and conforms nicely to the shape of the dog.2. The handle is stitched on well and I can actually pick up the 48lb. dog in an emergency.3. This is highly adjustable.4. The area between the front legs is not very wide and does not rub on the legs.5. The built in pockets are fairly hidden and a wonderful feature, since my dog carries my wallet contents.6. Rarely have I encountered a vest that required so little modification to make it function.7. Even came with the shock cord, which can be used toward the rear of the vest and still allow for the use of the pockets.8. Plenty of Velcro for patches.9. Molle system compatible... mostly (also see negatives of this vest)10. Love the reflective strip around the vest!11. This LOOKS adorable!!!Things that could be better:1. The fabric does not seem easily cleanable, but it's fairly sturdy. I got fabric waterproofing spray and used that prior to using the vest.2. The most notable fail is that the Molle system isn't quite right. I assumed that the Velcro strips would be the standard 1" wide, but they are not. They are only 3/4" Velcro, so don't expect the Velcro panel to be 3" tall, it is only 2.5" tall.3. The clear pocket at the center for ID was awkward and useless for us. It's VERY small and that area would be better served with another strip of Velcro or nothing at all. (We removed it completely)4. You can never have enough Velcro! I was sad to see that the strips were only 3/4" and we also added some to the handle.5. The clips and buckles are beefy and seem like they will last a while, however, the choice of nesting buckles at the neck was an odd choice. We will make it work and it looks fine, but they can get a little noisy at times, as they sometimes bang against one another. Since we keep them closed and slip this over his head for entry each time, it's not really a big deal.6. Sadly, this particular style doesn't come in too many color choices. While this was perfect for my taste, we have friends who would prefer solid black, tan or olive drab.7. It would be nice to have a d-ring at the rear of the vest. It would be more useful than having that large and awkward one on his chest.8. One area was stitched a little off and hopefully the reflective strip will not start to pull off in the near future.In conclusion, we've tested a lot of gear over the years. (No one has ever paid us to do so, so I'm more critical since I'm paying my own money to purchase) Some things stand out as unique with better than average form and function. This vest is certainly a pleasantly unusual style that is both adorable and useful! I love how it moves with the dog and it's not rotating constantly, like many vests do. Only time will tell how it holds up. While we do use our gear daily, we don't tend to be too hard on it. With the addition of the waterproofing spray and a few modifications, I expect that we will love this vest for a long time! If you are looking for a nice balance of quality and form and function, this vest fits the bill... and the dog!!I like it’s pretty easy to put on the dog It also can be taken apart pretty quickly for cleaning.Probably one of the best I’ve had in a long timeThe vest is high quality and fits snug and comfortable. Size medium.Fits nicely as plenty of room for Velcro patches on itI only rated this 4 stars partly because this is the first time I have bought one. Just off the top of my head, I would make it a bit easier to tuck the excess straps better. That could also have a little too due with my "in-experience" with these.Buckles are Sturdy and well-built and the large handle helps a lot with getting "quick" control of the dog, and she seems to like it, which is always a good thing. The stitching is really well done. I got this for a friend but even I can feel that the weight of the dog isn't going to break it at the seams.Probably could of bout a Med instead of a large but this does the job and like I said, it was a gift.All aside, I would recommend this harnessThis dog harness is absolutely beautiful. The buckles are strong and my 65 pound pit pulls quite a bit when she wants to smell something along the path. The neck buckles are made from metal and the chest buckle is a heavy duty plastic. The only thing I would like to see made stronger is fabric loop on the top of the harness where the leash attaches. The metal piece that is attached to that loop is pretty heavy duty and rough on the denim fabric which has frayed just a little (That's why I gave it 4 stars but as I stated I have quite a strong puller). I attached a piece of heavy duty Velcro in between the metal piece and the fabric loop so the metal stops rubbing there. It has a front loop that I may have to try to see if it stops her from pulling. But it has held up beautifully so far and she gets lots of compliments on it. It is fully adjustable around the neck, around the chest and also length wise under the neck to chest can be shortened or lengthened. It came with two glow in the dark "BEST FRIEND" patches and a paracord but not sure how it attaches so I don't use it.It looks great quality, zip pockets are so useful and the handle too. I absolutely love the design and the blue jeans and golden colour combination is fab. The harness is wonderful and deserves 5 stars however I bought the Medium size and its too big for my medium size dog. Its designed I would say for either big dogs or for medium dogs with wide chest. My dog is an Irish terrier, so medium size athletic type, and fastening the harness to the max she can get out of it. Its too big. Pity the brand doesn't do a smaller size.I had a Kurgo for my dog that passed recently. But that was a small. Definitely didn't fit.I'm dog sitting for a friend who's son just went through surgery for cancer.I went through my orders and the price skyrocketed from early spring, so I searched.It's very well made. Buckles are metal. Material is thick but light weight. Very strong which is something I needed as she's not a good walker.The only reason I gave it a 4* was it's not true to size. She slightly bigger the what the medium chart said. The straps are right to the end and can't get it any smaller. I put a sweater under it and it fits snug how it should.Comfort.... It think she likes it. LoLI love the Color and the functionality of this harness, but two problems, first the straps keep on losing by itself. I readjust the strap and after a walk it is lose again. Second if your dog is a puller, the front D ring, does not work at all, as soon as the dog start to pull the whole harness will slide to one side. So I never use the front ring again4* because it is only 2 days since receiving the product. Looks so army but at the same time very luxurious harness. My dog is not a puller and mostly running off-leash.
