Some dogs need a little extra help learning leash behavior and that can be challenging for dogs and dog owners. The Venture No- Pull Harness can lend a gentle hand. Built with strain-relief in mind, this thoughtfully designed harness helps to minimize strain when your dog pulls away by gently restricting the force of the pull and redirecting your dog’s movement toward the leash. The top section of the harness also features a rugged loop handle that offers even more control of your dog when needed. Praise and rewards, such as a treat when your dog stops or slows down, can also help with teaching leash behavior. The Venture No-Pull Harness is suitable for daily walks and weekend adventures and it’s perfect for active and mobile dogs and dog owners. Two snap buckles on the adjustable chest section offer easy on-off wearability. There is also additional adjustability at the neckline to ensure a snug fit across a variety of breeds and sizes. Plus, there is a tag for you to write your contact info inside the harness in the event you leave the harness behind on an adventure. Thanks to its comfort, adjustability and enhanced features, the Hurtta Venture No-Pull Harness has everything dogs and dog owners want and need in a harness – and more.

NO TWO DOGS ARE THE SAME - Don’t guess on the size. Use the size chart along with the “Measuring Your Dog” size guide for a perfect fit. The chest girth measurement is the most important for harnesses
This will be a great harness if it fits the dog properly. I have a Doberman with an 18 inch neckline and the 32-40 inch size was too large for her. The main reason I ordered the harness was for the no-pull feature but even with the adjustability at the neckline (close to the max possible tightness) my dog is able to pull like she has a regular harness (no redirect happening like PetSafe Easy Walk, the most useful harness I found, but this one doesn't have a handle). Th Hurtta Venture harness doesn't hinder the dog front legs movement which is important to me. But it's also not very effective in controlling the pulling, perhaps because it's loose on my dog. Used as a regular harness it's great, it's light and with a useful handle.Regretfully sending it back, like all Hurtta products it is great quality.
