The straps are very thin, I see these breaking in the near future. The chest plate is ridiculously small and also very thin, it also bunches up on the dog. Doesn't feel like quality hardware and it is also only entirely stitched, no rivets. Overall doesn't feel very sturdy, especially for that price.I think for an everyday harness for cosmetic appeal you’re probably fine with this purchase. But anyone using this harness for any kind of work or stress, I wouldn't trust nor recommend it. Much better harnesses out there for the price.I'm picky but there are areas where they clearly took shortcuts on this harness.[1] Stitching is slanted in certain areas causing some straps to sit slanted instead of vertical resulting in some straps not to line up exactly right.[2] Some areas aren't completely dyed. For example, the breast plate isn't completely dyed near where the felt padding is stitched onto the leather (at the rear of the breast plate facing the dog). The bare leather and dye look a bit rough splotched together but it probably won't bother most since it's not functionally significant.[3] I would have appreciated some kind of packaging besides a generic plastic bag, along with some materials like warranty, company contact information, fitting, and leather care instructions. Basically anything that tells me this is a premium product worth its price and not a generic item produced in a factory overseas and re-branded with a premium price.The leather is thick and in general it looks like the product in the photo. I will update this review with more information as it gets more use.I bought the 26-32inch harness in black and it is very small looking, definitely consider it a "medium" in dog sizing. Ideal for dogs under 50lb, I'd personally only use this for puppies/young dogs. Anything larger and I'd be concerned it would break as it isn't as sturdy as other harness brands and the leather is thinner. It's also stitching only, no rivets.I'd be curious to know if the larger sizing has a bigger Y front breastplate. Viper on the left, Dean&Tyler Large 30-40in on the right for comparison.Harness is of ok quality but the wrong size was shipped. I ordered a 26-32” harness to use on my puppy. I received the large harness and it’s essentially useless. It’s 32-40” it’ll be at least a year or more before my dog is mature enough to even fit into it. So I paid decent money for a harness I won’t be able to use anytime soon and will be out more money buying on that fits properly.PerfectStraps are very thin in all directions. Leather doesn't feel like quality I would want touching me. There one I recieved also had white hairs all over the padding. My dog is black so I know it wasn't mine. Leather harness doesn't smell like leather either. My collars a year later still smell like leather. It's going back. The padding is at least niceI use this every day to walk my very strong pitbull. This is an excellent item. Comfortable for the dog, secure. This is what is needed for a strong dog. I am pleased with this.I have a very large male GSD and use this for protection work very good quality; definitely worth the price. A must have!Hochwertiges Leder und stabile Verschlüsse.
