My greyhound is black. My coat is black. And in our neighborhood in the winter, walking at night is a dark and scary thing! After almost getting hit by a car, I ordered this light-up collar and I feel 100% more safe walking my dog at night. The collar is stiff and sturdy and the lights are bright! It's perfect. Since my dog is a Greyhound, I still attach her leash to her martingale collar - not this light-up collar - since Ms. Skinny neck would wiggle right out of it.Well made, stays charged a long time!I've been using this collar for over a year. I just bought a new one for a friend. It's got an easy on/off clip and it's sturdy. The battery is long lasting and easy to charge. It's a great buy and the price is right.So far this works great, but its only been about a week. I got the green one for my German Shepherd. Its bright and so easy to use. Even with my boy having thick longer hair around his neck it shines bright. I love that it has 3 light settings. When walking I like to use the fast blink because to me it stands out more and when he's just in the yard at night I like the stay on glow. We shall see how long this holds up for.This has made it so easy to find my dark dog in my dark back yard. I don't worry when he does not come in immediately because I can see him wherever he goes in out big back yard.Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Cars/people are definitely aware when the flash mode is going (I feel this is the best option for walking near busy streets, etc).Some people have complained about the rubber flap protecting the re-chargeable port. It's not as difficult as some users exclaim and it's hard to get off for a reason.Looks like a well made collar. Hope the electronics hold up.The medium collar is supposed to be 20" long at maximum extension. It's only 19". 20" would be a better fit for my dog. TBD if it will be too tight.Update:I'm upping my rating to 4 stars. The collar still fits my dog okay at 19".Though the collar fabric and buckle are pink, I would call the led lighting closer to red than to hot pink. Personally, I'm okay with that.I will update this review again if the collar led lighting fails in the future.I had to buy a new led collar after I lost mine ( which was also new ) and was surprised at how few options there seems to be now on here, at least for good quality ones. I ended up buying 2 as wasn't sure how they would be and this one definitely was the better of the two. It's actually very bright ( I got green, which is usually a safe bet with led and tends to always be fairly bright ). The colour is great , fit my dog perfectly and seems decent enough quality. I havnt had it die on me yet but usually charge up my dog led stuff once every 3 or 4 walks so safe to say it lasted me at least 3 hrs before I charged but it could have gone longer I just rather be on top of it then wait for it to die. I decided to order a purple led collar but will be keeping this one as my backup :) definitely recommend.the battery life on this collar is excellent. i charged it out of the box (about 20/30 minute charge) i have used it every day for approximately two weeks on the steady and slow flash for 30-45 minute walks each time and still going strong. it is light weight and fits great.Resistentes y muy brillantes, el collar es más largo de lo que uno piensa, sin embargo es muy fácil de acortar, que se cargue vía usb es una ventaja, carga rápida y duran bastante prendidos.
