I bought these booties in my regular shoe size and they fit fine, though I'd say they run a little narrow. They are cute, and I really like the harness hardware. I don't think they are going to need the usual Frye boot break in period. My only disappointment is that the Fatigue color, which you'd think would be olive green and the photo on Amazon seems to show as greenish, but what I got is a gray and black snakeskin pattern.I ordered these as my annual birthday boot purchase thru Prime Wardrobe. I am a huge fan of Frye, but not the Frye and Co. ones! Two different planets of footwear. These ran small. I have 3 pair of Frye boots that fit me 100% as an 8.5. These were too small. But 9 would have been too big. Strange for Frye. (For clarification, I ordered 4 pair of Frye boots/ shooties and 2 Lucky brand and the Frye all had fit issues.) But I love these. I tried them on many times over 3 days. Went with the Lucky brand ones nearly identical that fit perfect and have no skid soles. The color is spot on for pure black and the hardware is gorgeous. If you are inbetween a half and full size these boots will work for you...just order half size up.Boot is beautiful but the box does not look like a typical Frye Boot box. The usual Frye paper was not used to wrap the boot inside the box. Instead the paper inside was torn, re-used tissue paper, the boot itself was stuffed with paper towel, and the Frye Company brochure was missing. Very disappointed to give this as a gift.I had to return and re-order these a half size smaller. So, beware of that. They do not run true to size as stated. Also one of them showed up with stains on them, and I am hoping that I get some compensation for this because I do not know how to clean this off of the suede material.Super comfy. Only bummer is they look super worn in after only a couple wears. I’d still buy these again.I’m usually between 6 and 6.5 in Frye boots, so I ended up ordering both sizes, but the 6 is the right size for me. Typical great quality boots, lovely unique but versatile color. However, for some reason the color on the 6.5 pair was not consistent through out the boot, and the leather was dull and softer, but I wouldn’t have noticed if I didn’t have the two pairs to compare.I have been having lots of problems with my orders lately so to get my package with no issues felt rightIf there is more than 5-star option, I’d love to give it for this booties. Frye is always an amazing brand but this one is the highest quality booties. It’s true to size. I usually wear 9,5M and I ordered the same size and fitted perfectly. I am more than happy my purchase...Highly recommend it...LovleyExcellent quality, broke in immediately.
