My furbaby has an inoperable tumor on her lower chest, and it's grown so much that getting a string harness on her is almost impossible. I bought this to replace the string harness since it hits her on the upper chest. I've had her wear it for a couple of weeks now and I'm impressed. The construction seems sturdy, I like how the strap that the D-ring is on has a bit of room so that she's not jerking at the end of the leash, and I like how the buckles have padding around them.I was a bit worried about the size; however, I followed the guide regarding sizing and the harness fits her perfectly. Whatever you do, don't rely on the size that you normally get for your dog. My little girl's string harness is a small and this one is x-small. Take the time to measure to get the perfect fit!I really have no complaints about this harness. For the price, if it last six months to one year I'll be happy.I had a full harness on, my girl would run away every time I put it on her. With this one, she doesn’t run away. She sits calmly and likes this one better. It doesn’t choke her.I have a 30lb golden mix and did all the measurements and ordered a small - I should have gone a size up. There’s plenty of adjustment room for the neck piece but the chest piece has to be fully extended and her fur grows in between grooming visits it begins to get a little tight. I’m going to make an extension piece if I can find matching buckles. Other than that - this harness is very well made she doesn’t seem to mind wearing it at all. I specifically like that there is no front piece that goes between her front legs on her chest. The absence of that piece makes it much easier to put on - simply pull it over her head and run the chest piece under and behind her legs. No having help her “step-in”. She can’t step over the leash while walking with this harness. Highly recommended.I got this for my Australian shepherd and it is too small. I thought for sure a large would fit her, she isn’t fat, just average size. I am glad I didn’t get the medium, which I was considering. The harness itself seems to be made out of pretty good material, the buckle is questionable I think if you have a hard puller.Cute color for my girl and fits nicely and can be adjusted as well. I like the harness as it doesn’t pull on her neck as the standard collars do! And I like that it has instructions on the inside as they can be confusing to put on without thatThe thing I like about this harness is that it's quite adjustable. It's taken my puppy from a very small size and she still has plenty of room to grow. I also like the handle at the back as puppies are fast and that handle has made it much easier to get my hands on her when she's being uncooperative. There are pads underneath the straps, I get that they put them there for comfort so the straps don't dig in but they don't stay put as well as I would like, but I guess I'm glad they are there and they aren't in my way at all. It did take me awhile to adjust the front chest piece as it was unclear how it was supposed to sit. At first it was loose enough that she could get it in her mouth and chew on it so I had to tighten it down and was concerned it would choke her but it's tightened snuggly and doesn't choke her even when I lift her by the handle. For that reason I only gave it 4 stars but I overall I really do like the product.Blue label is a little annoyingly bright. Orange is a good blaze orange ring for leash attachment very sturdy. Ring for leash clip is not stationary on the handle. Got it for my mom's small 10lb Yorkie he has a 10 inch neck and 16 inch body we purchased the xs and it fits well. I thought it might be too big but it was good. He looks handsome. Neck portion is nice and padded the grey around the mesh neck padding is reflective as well as the stitching which is dark grey. Has some nice mesh padding in the arm pits shoulder and neck area. He can still pull though. Recommend it for small dogs.Ok, just like another I recently tried, I have to give this 5 Stars for construction, coloring, and features, but it did not fit either of our girls. Maybe the measuring was off on my part. After 2 years though you'd think we know it or at least have it written down somewhere. Which we do on both accounts. I do always check though to be sure. Since it's harder to track the treat count with two of us dispensing them. The neck was tight on both and forget the girth on the baby. She has a deep wide chest. I wouldn't try to squeeze either of our girls into it. Sorry.I think maybe for a leaner dog like a Boxer (deep but thin chest), or any other dog not related to the slightly overweight Pitty or GSD families and you'll be good to go.
