My young Golden Retriever is already crate trained and I’m having to use it more than any dog I’ve had in the last 40 years as he is a terrific chewer. I’m taking my time introducing him to this new crate so he doesn’t start chewing on IT! I want him crate free eventually but when we travel, he may need to be crated and I hope it will be with this one.We purchased this crate because out of the blue or dog would NOT use her old travel crate. I train at a dog club, and there are times where she must be created.When it arrived, we set it up and began playing crate games. Did that for about 2 weeks. We went to traing and did it again. Like magic, she willingly created! Hallelujah! We continue to play crate games for about the next month and hopefully it will do the trick.I'll say the frame is exceptional. The controls for collapsing it are far superior to others.All in all, I'm very happy and have had a number of people at the club ask about our crate.We have two pugs and purchased the extra large size to fit both dogs and went on a two week road trip with them. The crate performed beyond expectations. It was great for hotel rooms. I would recommend this product to anyone.easy to "assemble". seems to be made of quality materials - thick fabric, solid frame, etc.. the bottom pad is adequate but could be thicker. i like the inside leash tie. 26" perfect size for my large 12# chiahuahua who seems to like it. twice the price of similar crates but seems worth for longer lasting materials and easy setup. we'll see how it holds up.Very well made, sturdy frame that is easily expanded and locks in place. Perfect for my little Yorkie.Great concept for a crate; love the collapsible feature but unfortunately, it did not contain our dog. She pushed through one of the zippered, mesh sides which ripped (pulled away from seams) and she was able to get outSo far I have used this both for cats and dogs and I love it because they do. It is much bigger than I expected and I wasn't sure when I first opened it. However, it was very lightweight for how big it is so it was easy for me to carry. The pets like it and the cats chose o go in there and sleep in in....several at a time. While some sleep inside others jump on top and sleep there.I had to take a couple of cats to the vet and I left them in there and they didn't mind and just let them stay in there. So far, it has worked out great for my needs and I love how the windows go up all over so the pets can look out and not feel trapped inside. It is very sturdy. The bars that hold it open and together are very strong. The quality on this is excellent.I really like this Collapsible Travel Dog Crate. It is the perfect size for my small sheltie. Pops up nicely and easy to lock into place with no chance of pinching my fingers. Insert included for the bottom of crate. The zipper on top of the crate was a little off track but is still usable. Light to carry and for me great for classes or dog shows. Great color and will get plenty of use.
